Experienced and Certified Police Firearms Instructor (Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun) through the Maryland Police Training Commission and Certified Civilian Firearms Instructor through Maryland State Police. Armorer in multiple platforms to include Glock, AR-15 and Remington 870.

I have 27 years of law enforcement experience in the DC Metro area. Past assignments include patrol, Field Training Officer, patrol supervisor, SWAT, firearms instructor, academy instructor, administrative investigations, Honor Guard, and currently assigned as the supervisor of my department's Firearms Training Unit.

I am an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment, member of the NRA, and enjoy teaching officers and civilians in multiple disciplines, from beginners to advanced. A strong foundation in firearms safety and fundamentals of shooting is important for everyone.

If you are looking to begin your journey into firearms ownership and need to obtain your Maryland HQL so you may purchase a handgun or are a citizen in need of a Maryland Wear and Carry class so you may obtain a Maryland Carry Permit, you have come to the right place.

If you have a group of people looking to obtain one of these classes, I have a team of experienced instructors who will come to you and put on a class.

For those groups of people that are not Maryland residents but would like to obtain a Maryland W&C class so you may apply for your Maryland permit, we would be willing to travel to you to make that happen.

My classes will be held at several locations in the Hagerstown area, to include at the Downsville General Store.
